Looking Ahead for Foxtrot Equines

June 18, 2026

If you’ve been keeping an eye on your Equines, you may have noticed that the newly updated Equines now follow our standard 5-day breeding cycle.

This change was announced some time ago as part of a larger plan to bring all Foxtrot pet lines onto a consistent breeding schedule, and we’re excited to finally bring Equines in line with that vision!

We know this is a noticeable change from the previous 2-day cycle, but there’s a reason for it, and it’s tied to something we’ve been working hard on behind the scenes: Treats!

Currently in the final stages of testing, the upcoming Treats system will give breeders a chance to discover special traits through optional treats fed to their animals. We’re incredibly excited about the possibilities this opens up, and the move to a 5-day breeding cycle is an important step in getting Equines ready for everything that’s coming!

Our goal has always been to make breeding feel rewarding, exciting, and full of possibilities! Treats are designed to add a whole new layer to that experience, giving breeders even more reasons to look forward to each new generation.

While we’re putting the finishing touches on the system, we wanted to make sure the groundwork was already in place so Equines are ready to hit the ground running when Treats arrive.

Thank you for continuing to grow, breed, and share your Equines with us. We know change can sometimes be an adjustment, but we’re genuinely excited about where this is headed and can’t wait to show you more as we get closer to this new rollout!
