Butters: Essential Guide

Basic Features of the Butters Butterflies:

• No food or water required
• Pets are immortal (do not die)
• Cost to breed per animal: L$25
• Butters have options for Static, movement only or Move and fly!
• Traits limited to coats, sizes, and particle colors only
• Legacy pet status (Product will not be updated but we offer support as the product stands)
• No sex change potions available
• Static home object (no updates required)
  • Home has 8 Pot color options in the configure menu
  • Home has 8 Flower color options in the configure menu

Home & Breeding Requirements:

1. Home Object
   • Must be rezzed at all times for breeding and birthing
   • Required for server communication
   • After server restarts:
     • Newer models: Use “reset” button
     • Older models: Pick up and re-rez
2. Breeding Mechanics
   • Breeding age: 5-30 days
   • Pairing ratio: 1 male to 2 females
   • Recovery periods:
     • Males: 48 hours 2 days
     • Females: 96 hours 4 days
   • Ready to breed indicator: Pink text
   • Requires one empty cocoon per breeding attempt

Generation System:

• Equal generations: Offspring is one generation higher (e.g., G10 + G10 = G11)
• Mixed generations: Offspring is lowest generation +1 (e.g., G2 + G10 = G3)

Breeding Process:

• Parents’ text turns Pink at age five when ready to breed.
• Ensure home object is rezzed
• Place empty Butters Cocoon before the parents you wish to breed
• Select male and choose “Breed” (name appears above bundle)
• Select female and choose “Breed” (name appears above bundle)
• Bundle will display breeding results and now you can Rez, or Sell the baby in the cocoon.
