Hello everyone,
This is Streex Foxtrot from Foxtrot Breedables, bringing you the latest update for April 25th, 2024.
Before we delve into the updates, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Cute n’ Cuddly community. Your unwavering support has been pivotal in Foxtrot’s mission to revive the Cute n’ Cuddly Panda. Your presence means the world to us, and your support makes our efforts all the more meaningful. We’re working tirelessly to ensure that we meet your expectations.
I apologize for the discrepancy regarding something I mentioned during our Open Q&A session. I previously stated that Foxtrot would exchange food, tonics, and Cute Credits. Unfortunately, that goal is unable to be reached. Instead, I will stand by my original goal of returning your pets.
Live pandas will be replaced for breeders, and cradles will be converted into new Cookie Jars. To facilitate this transition, we need to set a deadline for replacements. If you wish to have your pets returned, please ensure you are on the waiting list by June 1st. After this date, we will no longer be able to accommodate requests for replacements. This deadline is necessary as we transition away from the old databases.
Updates regarding Panda and Cradle replacements will be carried out in two phases:
The first phase will coincide with the release of Foxtrot’s Cute n’ Cuddly to the grid. On the same day, we will begin replacing physical objects in your inventory for those on the waiting list. You must place any pandas or cradles in your inventory into a box and provide them to us when we reach out to you. All database pet replacements will be conducted on and after June 1st.
Why the delay? We have discovered instances where users have database entries for pets sold after deactivating the database, raising questions about ownership. In such cases, we prioritize the panda’s or cradle’s physical ownership. Therefore, physical replacements will take precedence. After June 1st, those on the waiting list will receive database holdings that remain on their avatar in the second wave of replacements.
To streamline this process, we acknowledge that many live pandas were pregnant. Even if these babies were never born, the database identified them. We intend to return these pets to the owners who paid to breed them. As a result, some of you will receive quite a few more pets after the database phase on June 1st.
I understand that discovering we cannot exchange food, tonics, and credits is disappointing news, but we remain committed to returning these pregnancy-status babies to you. While it may not fully compensate for the inconvenience, Foxtrot is dedicated to rectifying this situation. As those investments reflect real value that Foxtrot did not earn, we cannot pay out items to replace that value. As caring stewards of the Foxtrot CnC Panda product line, we enter the future together with you, working to the best of our abilities to recover a product you once loved. Although we can breathe life back into the actual pets, we simply cannot resurrect the non-pet items that accompanied the Pandas. Moving forward, we aim to continue operating with transparency and good faith, and I assure you that your pandas will be returned. Please ensure you are on the list by June 1st to facilitate the replacement process.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through these adjustments.
Best regards,
Streex Foxtrot
